Easter Processions

Easter saw two processions in Thirsk.

On Good Friday the traditional Walk of Witness set out from St Mary’s church, with volunteers carrying the cross, pausing on the route for readings and hymns, accompanied by the Thirsk Royal British Legion Band, and ending at the town centre Clock.

On Easter Saturday a separate procession set out from Holy Rood House for the marketplace, featuring the Coat of Hopes.
