Lighting up
A lot of big events in Thirsk are geared to a national, even an international audience. I am thinking of vets, cyclists and bandits. The annual Christmas lights switch-on is, however, an event for the people and especially the children of Thirsk. This year was, in this observer’s opinion, the best so far, so much appreciation to Jill Miller ad her crew and to Thirsk Rotary, Steven Dresser and the other supporters who made it all work….
